Where does the name come from?

Pa-nache En-fants

(pAH-nAHsh AHN-fahnts

In French, the name literally means children with energy and a flamboyant, confident style or manner. At Panache Enfants, we want to partner with parents to create confident, strong children who can take on the world of elementary education by storm.

Our
Mission

At Panache Enfants, we provide a comprehensive, turn-key solution to early childhood education and care from infancy through TK/Pre-K. Our focus is on developmental appropriateness through a combination of guided play and our instructor-led PanacheGurus academic curriculum. Your students will begin their elementary education “more than Kindergarten ready”.

Leadership

Shilpa and Mandeep are often called a “Power Couple” – a term they vehemently dislike. They would much rather be known as the fierce parents! They see themselves as the “parents” of all Panachers within the Panache family. Mama Bear and Papa Bear come out if anything messes with the intent and vision they originally espoused in 2012. One thing is always a certainty; if you have a problem, they are the safety net. Always.

Shilpa has spent many hours trying to give herself a unique job title but she just can’t come up with one that encompasses what she does. She has considered Program Architect, Creative Thinker, Chief Dreamer, Innovator, Child Advocate, Motivational Speaker, and Safety Lead. None of them quite had the ring she was looking for so she remains boring “Co-Founder” for the time being. Along with being the designer of the PanacheGurus curriculum and program, Shilpa has mapped out every process and procedure, trained all staff and management and empowered her staff to keep the ball rolling on all the things. She will always listen yet remain true to her responsibility of running an excellent educational program that rises above and beyond in all ways.

Professionally, Shilpa has earned a Masters in Teaching at St. Mary’s College of California and as a credentialled California teacher, has taught 1st, 3rd and 5th grade in public school. She has also fed, changed, napped, played with and taught every age child that has walked the Panache halls. She does so with love in heart, pride in her programming and confidence in her knowledge of what’s best for kids. Ultimately, each child she interacts with becomes an indelible piece of her heart.

Fondly known as Mr. Mandeep, his quiet demeanor and low-key vibe often have new Panachers mistaking him for the maintenance man. And honestly, Mandeep probably relishes that role most! Along with all our facility maintenance work and keeping us technologically in the 21st century and beyond, Mandeep holds the reigns of business management and finances. Yes, believe it or not, he is the money man. In his day job, Mandeep is a professional Electrical Engineer and Project Manager, and his been practicing with a keen eye on excellence for over 25 years.

Last but not least, Shilpa and Mandeep live locally, in Pleasanton with their three children, Raunak, Ranbir and Naaz, and their adorable Golden Doodle, Gabru. Being as devoted to community and family as they are, Shilpa and Mandeep are often found volunteering at their kid’s sports games, music events, school functions and among their local community. Their front door is an ever-revolving door, filling their living room and kitchen with the laughter and joy of visiting friends and family.

They harbor the desire of continuing to have the laughter and joy spill into the lives of all the Panachers that come through our Panache front doors as well.

Get to Know Us

Both sides of the Gupta-Panech family have a legacy of education running through the generations. From public school teachers to college deans; from caregivers to childcare program owners, we have seen it all within the last 50 years. So there was no surprise that when the older 2 Panech boys were born, Shilpa left her not-so-fun corporate finance job, sat down to brainstorm with her village, and landed on the concept of Panache.

Family investments in time and money, some blood, sweat and tears later, Panache Enfants was born. (Fun Fact: Petits Enfants was the final program owned by Shilpa’s mother in NJ, where Shilpa was born. The Enfants name along with the play on the Panech last name is where “Panache Enfants” hails from!
